Spurious Statistics

New studies involving a cross section of society, have shown the following:

78% people believe that statistics are only 34% reliable

43% of people believe that 72% of statistics are between 67% and 87.05% reliable

whilst the remaining 13% of people are completely
innumerate.

Government targets aim to improve numeracy within 3 years or by 2012, whichever is sooner.
