Valentine's Day
First, we have to issue an apology. This doesn't happen often (see An Apology), mainly because we don't like the implication that we're admitting liability for anything. This does NOT happen. At no time, in the past, present, or - thanks to some clever temporal legal sidestepping - the future.
It is just not possible for us to be liable for anything. Believe me. We did try explaining the reasons in a disclaimer but apparently, it was such a massive document that there wasn't enough room for it on the Internet.
Anyway. A qualified apology for yesterday's Thought 4 the Day, which may have contained jokes that some readers could have found to be weak and profoundly annoying. We regret any irritation that may have occurred to your lower bowel whilst reading these jokes. We regret it a lot - but not as much as the guy who wrote it. He was to have faced a disciplinary enquiry today, but sadly, he passed away before we could get the electrodes on. It seems that he contracted a disease, caused by drinking too much contaminated Liebfraumilch.
Our thoughts are with his family, whom we have now released.
On a brighter note, here is our Valentine's Day thought:
